I'm Yours Save Me!

I can't love You
are You asking me to?
I can't obey You
are You asking me to?
I can't serve You
are You asking me to?
I can't give up my pride for You
are you asking me to?
There is nothing that I can do for You that will please a holy, holy, holy God. I am completely opposite of you. I am a failure and always will be. There is nothing that I do that is good and righteous. My heart is full of iniquity and my mind is occupied with the things that will please me. I am just fooling myself when I think that anything I do measures up to Your standards...ever! I can't even pray right or even go about living a life that is pleasing in Your sight because I make it all about me. Oh, please save me! Save me from my sin and help me to see myself for what I am and PLEASE help me to see the valuable gift of salvation You have given me. Open my eyes open my heart take this cold stone from me and give me a heart after You. Help me to serve You even if it meant that I would never go to heaven. To serve You for Your glory and not for my own sake. Please help me not to pray pretty words that don't mean a thing. Help me to be awe struck with You that I glory in Your presence while in prayer to You. Take away my strength and fill me with Your strength not for my own use but for You to use me any way You choose. I cannot but You can...I'm Yours save me for Your name sake.

Sarah,
That was very heartfelt. We can find true strength in HIm, without Him we are weak.
